About Me​​

​Hello! My name is Gabby and I am the owner of Clover House Family Child Care. I have worked in child care for over five years. I have worked with children ranging in ages from 6 weeks to 10 years old. I worked in a child care center with a child-led play based philosophy that really shaped my view on early childhood. I spent a little over a year and a half subbing in different childcare centers across the metro. Subbing was a great way to see a wide variety of philosophies and to see how different people/ centers do things. My experience has really strengthened my belief that children should play. Our job as caregivers is to offer a variety of different materials and opportunities for experiences. They learn so much through play when given the opportunity, time and support when needed.

Clover House Environment

​

The main floor of the house is used for child care. There is a room for children to nap in so younger children can sleep with less disruption from the play of older children. The basement is used for monthly storm drills. The back yard is mostly fenced in for children to play outdoors. 

Clover house is a smoke free home. 

We have two indoor cats. They go to the vet regularly and keep up to date on necessary shots. The cats provide children opportunities to learn how to share space with animals and treat them with respect.

Safety

I am CPR and First aid certified. I keep up to date on the MN Department of Human Services required trainings.

We do monthly fire and storm drills along with discussing safety.

Safe sleep is followed for infants. Video monitoring is used between regularly conducted in person checks.

Tuition

​$260 per week per child
